Jiwa's Initiatives, Causes and Support
Ububele Education Psychotherapy Trust
For the past five years, JIWA has proudly partnered with the Ububele Education Psychotherapy Trust in Kew, Alexandra. Ububele’s mission is to support children born into poverty, helping them grow into emotionally healthy adults, competent parents, and responsible citizens. JIWA currently sponsors the school fees for 10 learners, enabling them to access quality education and psychological support. Our close relationship with Ububele extends beyond financial support—we regularly attend school events, including their end-of-the-year awards ceremonies, where we witness firsthand the remarkable progress of the learners. We are immensely proud of their achievements and are committed to supporting their growth and development.
Mary Help of Christians Primary School
Located in Booysens, they approached JIWA for support in sponsoring two Grade 1 learners. This initiative aligns with JIWA’s mission to uplift underprivileged communities through meaningful educational support.
The House Group
A shelter that looks after destitute girl children, advocates for girl children rights and that uplifts the lives of disadvantaged, abused and neglected girls in Johannesburg.
JIWA has provided sewing machines and other resources that enable the girls to learn new skills.
JIWA's Collaboration with Maharishi Invincibility Institute
JIWA has recognized the impactful humanitarian work of the Maharishi Invincibility Institute and, in alignment with our mission of supporting underprivileged communities, we have partnered with the institute this year. As part of this collaboration, JIWA has sponsored the tertiary education fees for two learners at the institute, enabling them to pursue higher education and build a brighter future. This partnership reflects JIWA's ongoing commitment to fostering educational opportunities for disadvantaged youth, thus contributing to the growth of future leaders in South Africa.
Restore Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Centre

JIWA has assisted the centre to remain operational by providing financial support.

JIWA is supporting and providing financial aid for two students through their teacher training.
